We've collected many awards over the years for the outstanding quality of our produce, here's a taster just from last year.

Birmingham's Best Birthday Banger:

On the 18th October 2007 we were awarded by Ex England Cricketer Phil Tufnell and British Sausage Week, Birmingham's Best Birthday Banger for the multi-award winning Cotwold sausage.  Produced by our award winning butcher David Haines, many congratulations David.

Great Taste Awards 2007:

In 2007 we were awarded 4 gold medals in the Great Taste Awards.  This competition is regarded as the Oscars in the Fine Food World, are the largest independent evaluation of fine food and drink.  Out of 4500 products, only 500 receive awards, so well done to our head chef Robert Bean and his team of chefs.  Our award winning lasagne is available for you to buy online. *Visit our ready meals.

National Catering Butcher of the Year 2001 and 2007:

In late 2006 Aubrey Allen were voter National Catering Butcher of the Year and collected the industries most prestigious accolade, for a second time.  The National Catering Butcher of Year award seeks to reward excellence and outstanding contributions within the industry.

National Foodservice Pork Product of the Year Competition 2007:

This competition seeks new innovations, great tastes and fantastic eating quality within the industry.  Out of the six products entered into the competition, Aubrey Allen received three gold and three silver medals.

Great Taste Awards 2006:

In 2006 we received many gold awards and several silver awards for our chef prepared ready meals.

The Great Taste Awards is the most prestigious gourmet food awards ceremony in the UK. Organised by the Guild of Fine Food Retailers, the Awards has achieved a reputation over the last decade as the acknowledged accreditation for all speciality food and drink.

Every year there are nearly 4,000 entries which are subjected to rigorous judging by teams of experts that included food retailers, buyers, writers, critics and chefs. Over 170 classes are judged regionally and nationally and are blind tasted by over 200 judges to ensure each entry was judged by the same standards.

Best Sausage at Jimmy's Farm Sausage Festival 2006:

In September 2006 we won best sausage at the Jimmy's farm sausage festival with our multi award winning Warwickshire Whizzer sausage.

Nationwide Top Shop Awards 2005:

Best Butcher's in the Midlands and east of England

The Top Shop Awards are run by the weekly business magazine, Meat Trades Journal, widely regarded as the Bible of the UK meat industry.

Aubrey Allen was commended on the quality and variety of meats on sale, the attractiveness of displays, the helpfulness and knowledge of staff, hygiene, the way the business worked with its suppliers in the food chain, and the contribution it made to the local community.

National Barbecue Championships 2005:

Best Sausage Award - Warwickshire Whizzer

Highly Commended Awards for our; Moroccan Spiced Lamb Pave, Teriyaki Duck Breast, and Ultimate Pork Ribs.
